Let me tell you a little something about Bryana and Joe. During their engagement session at Monmouth University, I lost my glasses that were hanging on the collar of my shirt. I was set on getting us to the beach for some more portraits as the sun was setting quickly, but this determined duo wouldn’t let us leave until we found them. I told them that beach portraits were more important than me being able to see! Joe said Bry’s ‘Scooby senses’ were tingling so they headed off to keep searching outside while I checked inside for the millionth time. As I went back out to meet them, I heard Bry yell “Tori!! We found them!” I ran to hug them because I seriously don’t know how I would have driven home. I love that they chose Bry’s alma mater, Monmouth University, and Long Branch beach for their engagement session, since that’s where they went on their first date! I couldn’t speak highly enough about the kindness and heart that Bry and Joe both have. Their connection is inevitable, they are so much fun to hang out with, and the photos of them are ADORABLE. Their story is equally as sweet, so read on and then scroll to see all the love.

Bry and Joe were working a job that they both really didn’t love. About a week before Bry left the job, Joe slid on into her Instagram direct messages! Go Joe!! They hit it off in just a day, and they went on their very first date to a coffee shop in Long Branch, NJ the next day! These two love Italian food and all things nature, like hiking and walking different trails. They’re both so adventurous and up for anything, it was such a pleasure spending the evening laughing with them!

Joe explains, “We planned a getaway to Oheka Castle in Long Island for my fiancé’s birthday weekend. We have a major telepathic connection to where I can’t hide a frown from her. I chalked my nervous energy she was vibing up to a birthday surprise, which was also true. I called ahead the previous month and had our room upgraded for the big day. I pulled a friendly valet (Jonathan) aside and told him my plan. I pretended we were getting a few nice pictures taken outside by the castle gardens. As we were posing I pulled out the ring and dropped to my knee. Jonathan captured the whole event on video. We couldn’t be more grateful. P.S. I cried more than she did.” Isn’t that amazing?! Check out their proposal story that made it onto www.howheasked.com! Thank you both for glasses hunting with me and for being so incredible. Congratulations on this milestone, I can’t wait to see your love grow!!
