Their Engagement Session: Princeton University, NJ

Kinley and Elijah’s moody evening Princeton University engagement session was so sweet, intimate, and romantic. The backdrop variety in Princeton is endless, so we were spoiled for choice when it came to spots to use for their photos! From gorgeous gates, arches, steps, ivy walls, historic buildings, and more, we bounced around the property capturing their love until the sun fully set.

These two light up when they look at one another and can make each other laugh in an instant! It was so adorable witnessing their love in front of my camera from the cutest giggles to romantic softer moments.

Their Love Story

They wanted to not only celebrate their engagement with a photo shoot, but also to be able to decorate their brand new home with pictures before their wedding day rolls around! Shortly after their engagement session here in NJ, they moved into their new home in Fort Worth, TX, which is where Elijah and his brother own a few local donut shops! He also popped the question and proposed to Kinley in Fort Worth, so it holds such a meaningful place in their hearts!

They’re planning a dreamy wedding day this winter back in Indiana – a place that is so special to their love story since it’s where they met one New Year’s Eve at his hometown bar!

These two are always traveling for Elijah’s work as he plays minor-league baseball for the Yankees! Despite his busy baseball schedule playing 6 days a week, they always find time for date nights at the movies or a nice dinner together whenever possible! The time they get to spend traveling together is also a huge plus!

We made this session happen while they were here in Somerset NJ where Elijah was playing, and I’m so glad we were able to squeeze this session in before they hit the road again!
