I do not offer traditional videography services. I’m a huge believer in handing off the job to an expert instead of trying to do everything myself! I know plenty of incredible vendors from all different parts of the industry who I would love to refer you to! Videographers, calligraphers, florists, hair stylists, makeup artists, decor, rentals, etc. You name it, I’m sure I can help find you some amazing vendors for your day!

You’ll receive sneak peeks from your wedding within 1 week, and your full gallery is typically delivered between 8 - 12 weeks. Delivery times vary depending on the season. I edit galleries as quickly as I can, while still giving each gallery the care, time, and attention it deserves. Your high-resolution, edited images will be delivered through an online gallery that can be shared with friends and family!

I don’t put a cap, limit, or set number on how many pictures you'll receive, because I believe you deserve all of the incredible photos from your day. You can expect a minimum of 100 images per hour of coverage (typically, many more)! Every wedding is unique and varies based on the events of each individual day! If I see an image that you will love, I won’t keep it from you – promise!

In hopes of alleviating one larger payment for you, the payment schedule is broken down into a few smaller payments throughout the process. One-third of the total cost will act as the retainer (along with your signed contract) in order to reserve your date. The next third will be due at the midway point, and the final payment will be due 1 month before the wedding day. I use an online system called HoneyBook where you will be able to sign the contract electronically and make payments via bank transfer or credit card (to get those honeymoon miles)!

A Content Creator is a member of my team who is documenting the behind-the-scenes of your day through raw iPhone footage! While it's not a replacement for traditional videography, it's a great alternative for couples who may only want video clips for social media. Your content library, delivered within 48 hours via Dropbox, feels like a guest's perspective of the day, which allows your friends and family to remain present and in the moment. My Content Creator and I will work together to capture your day seamlessly and fully.

Film is a nostalgic, charming, and unique medium that brings a raw aesthetic to your special moments. Being that film is unpredictable and imperfect, you can expect to receive a handful of moments caught on film. A typical roll of 35mm has 24 - 36 shots available, but that doesn't mean they will all be deliverable. I sort through the scans and deliver the best of the best. Film is available at $150/roll to cover the cost of high-quality film, developing, and scanning through my professional film lab. Most couples add 2-3 rolls of film.

No need to worry! I find that my creativity shines in new locations as they keep me curious and excited for all of the unique and unexpected ways we can capture your day! With years of experience, I adapt seamlessly to new settings, all lighting conditions, and alongside new people! We’ll chat through which parts of your venue are your favorites, so I know where to focus our time. For local venues, I’d be glad to join you for a venue if the timing works out, and I always research your venue and arrive extra early to scope out the property on the day of your wedding!

I don't believe in changing your appearance or removing anything that makes you who you are. I focus on directing you in a flattering way to ensure you feel amazing in front of my camera! I will lightly edit out temporary blemishes, like a bruise or acne, to the best of my ability. However, I do not offer full skin retouching as it would delay gallery delivery. When hiring me, you're acknowledging that you love my work, editing style, know what to expect, and trust me fully! I ask that you are fully aware of my style to avoid any surprises in your final gallery.

Ooh, I love this one! My goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and connected. I know being in front of a camera can feel awkward at first, so my approach to posing is full of natural prompts and guidance to keep you moving, laughing, and focusing on each other! I want your photos to show your real personalities! On your wedding day, I provide guidance when needed, but ideally, I can step back to observe and capture the real moments. I edit my images with warm, earthy, rich tones that complement nature and keep my couples looking golden and sun-kissed!

I do not release the RAW files of my images. Editing is half of the process and magic that goes into these pictures, and without it, the images are only halfway done. I want you to receive images that look and feel like my style. To ensure that I protect my art and brand, I only deliver images in the editing style that you hired me for. Also, RAW files are huge and not compatible with most standard computer programs – you may not be able to open them if you’re unfamiliar with the format. I deliver high-resolution JPEG images that are easy to view, download, and print!

I do not watermark my images, as I find they are distracting and unappealing. I’ve created these images for you, and I want you to be able to use them, print them, and share them freely!

As the photographer, I retain the copyright to all images taken on your wedding day and engagement session; however, as my couple, you have access to the full edited gallery and have the ability to download, share, and print the images for personal use!

Yes! I love black and white pictures so much! I edit a majority of the gallery in color, and then I select very special moments to make black and white to enhance the gallery! I do not provide a black and white image for every color image in the gallery.

Typically, I do not take shot lists aside from your family photos list! My couples trust me to capture their real relationship and wedding day to the best of my ability. Often, if we're trying to capture a list of shots, we're missing the real, candid moments happening right in front of us. Your gallery should represent your real day unfolding, not staged or fake moments found on Pinterest. However, if there's something you really love and want to share with me for inspiration, please feel free to send! I won't copy an exact image, but I love to see what inspires your vision.

I’ll guide you through planning locations, outfits, and props for your engagement session! Through helpful what-to-wear guides, prep tips, and outfit inspiration, you’ll have plenty of resources to dream up the perfect session. I always recommend choosing a location that holds significance to your relationship, like where you met, went on your first date, or somewhere you love to visit! It's extra special when you can make this session totally your own and unique to your love story.

Yes! I have liability insurance for up to one million dollars and can provide a COI to any venue or session location that requires it.

Absolutely! I have backups for my backups! My equipment is as important to me as it is to you, so I can provide you with images you will cherish for years to come! I have backups and replacements for all of my gear. I also work with a team of 3 (myself, my second photographer, and an assistant), so we are each other's backups if ever needed!

I will do absolutely everything in my power to be at your wedding regardless of circumstance, so unless I’m hospitalized or something tragic happens, I’ll be there! In the case that something completely out of my control happens, my team (second photographer and assistant) will step in to fulfill these roles. I will do my best to find a replacement photographer to take my place if needed. All editing and communication will still be completed by me, so your images reflect my signature style.

I will do everything I can to be as accommodating as possible in this case, as I know these are big investments. However, I depend on this income to make a living, which is why I have a nonrefundable retainer in place. If I am available for the rescheduled date, I will gladly reschedule and move your retainer fee to the new date. If you cancel or reschedule to a date I am unavailable, the retainer is nonrefundable, but I will refund any additional payments made toward your wedding.

I’m SO glad you asked – I love knowing that these special images are going to live somewhere other than in a folder on your computer! I am a huge fan of the tangible, printed form, so I do offer beautiful linen-covered albums. Once you receive your gallery and confirm that you would like an album, I choose a huge chunk of the gallery to send off to an album designer who will create a mock-up for you! You are able to proof and make revisions twice, and once it is perfect, we send it off to be printed! In a few weeks, you have a gorgeous heirloom to look back on for years to come!

I typically shoot on Tuesday and Thursday evenings about 2 hours before sunset for the best lighting. You can also choose sunrise – meeting 15 minutes before sunrise and shooting for the following 1.5 hours. I no longer offer sessions mid-day, since the lighting is not as flattering, and I have very limited weekend availability due to my wedding schedule.
