Their Session: Asbury Park

I freaking LOVE that these two chose to plan a session to celebrate their 30th birthday! We actually got connected because I was assisting a wedding with a friend of mine, and Nicole and Sarah were in the bridal party! When the time came that they wanted to book a session for their 30th, they had thought of me to capture it! How awesome is that?! I am so honored!!

They wanted something super playful and obviously celebratory, so they went all out with some cute balloons, professional makeup by the incredibly talented Makeup by Samantha Linn, outfit changes, and a location that just looks like a party! Asbury Park boardwalk and beach has so much character, so I loved that they chose it for its colorful and fun backdrops! It was awesome getting to know these two and see where they were totally the same and also complete opposites! Super fun getting to work with twins!

It’s been really special getting to see the images they share on Instagram and how much the photos have sparked their self-love and confidence! It makes my heart so happy to know that my work can impact people’s lives so positively!

About Nicole & Sarah

Nicole is a hairstylist and Sarah is a 3rd-grade teacher! They claim to be complete opposites and look nothing alike, since they are fraternal twins who always have a hard time convincing people that they are actually twins! They said, “30 is a milestone for us .. and we have never done anything like this with each other. We would love to have nice pictures together and have something to give our parents!”

Their family would say Nicole is the loud one, while Sarah is the sarcastic one! Nicole would describe herself as funny, and Sarah would describe herself as extremely patient! They are such a fun balance of one another and totally know how to hype the other up! Sarah’s all about that Netflix and chill life or getting out and traveling the world. Nicole loves hanging out with her girls and can’t say no to charcuterie and wine!

It’s so special that you took the time to really celebrate yourselves at this time in life, and I love that you went all out for this shoot!
