Their Session: W Hotel Philadelphia, PA

WHEW, get ready for some heaaat from Corinne and Bobby’s chic W Hotel engagement session! They wanted to embrace their love of Philly with a modern-chic vibe to pair elegantly with their Pen Ryn Estate wedding next fall! Corinne said from the start, “I’m loving an old Hollywood/ Great Gatsby type of vibe. I love classy elegance.” We brought that and so much more with these photos – can’t wait to do it all again at their wedding! This session was truly NEXT LEVEL from their formal attire to their fun party vibes and plenty of cocktails in between!

We started off with some photos in their hotel room that had an amazing view of the city! Bobby made cocktails for them to cozy up and get comfortable in front of the camera. Didn’t take long for these naturals! Then, we bounced around the hotel from the moody hallways to the elevators and main lobby where they grabbed drinks in the lounge.

For their next outfit, Corinne popped on the cutest white mini dress and bow, which was perfect for playful photos jumping on the bed and up on the rooftop! They danced to their favorite songs before we popped champagne overlooking Philadelphia. We got SUCH a perfect night with overcast blue skies that made these rooftop photos so dreamy!

To end the night, we popped up to the floral mosaic bar, which was such an incredible spot for photos! It was the most chill evening getting to know Corinne and Bobby. We grabbed drinks together and connected over our travel, friendships, and wedding plans!

Their Love Story

Corinne is best friends with one of my beautiful past brides, Hannah (view their boho-chic Wave Resort wedding here), so getting to photograph a bridesmaid now as my bride is such an honor! We had so much fun at their wedding, and I was over the moon when Corinne reached out to me! She told me all about their incredible love story with Bobby!

Bobby is Hannah’s (my 2021 bride) cousin! He’s a resident doctor and she’s a nurse. They grew up knowing each other because Corinne would go on all of Hannah’s family’s vacations. Years down the road, she called him and asked if she should go back to nursing school and the talking just never ended from that point on! Next thing they knew, she was moving to Allentown, PA for his residency living their best lives together! Although schedules are busy now, they envision such a beautiful life full of family, adventure, amazing careers, and growing old together!

Bobby planned their proposal at Corinne’s parent’s house in NJ. She said, “I had absolutely zero idea and ugly cried through his entire speech to me. All of our closest friends and family were there and it was absolutely perfect. We then spent a few days down in Sea Isle afterwards where I just happy cried and stared at my new diamond.” SO cute!!

They love amazing Italian dinners with red wine, of course, but also love staying in watching their fave shows and eating drunken noodles while cuddling with their sweet doggie, Beckham!

Bobby’s loves that Corinne is never judgmental, always crazy supportive, very loving and makes it known to him every day! She adores that Bobby is the best listener ever, very affectionate, hardworking, driven, loving and kind. Their support and admiration for one another is unmatched, and so beautiful to witness even just for the few hours we had at their session!
