If you caught my last blog post showcasing Amanda and Jennie’s stunning Asheville mountaintop elopement, you’re going to love part 2 of their celebration! These two wanted an intimate wedding ceremony while still being able to celebrate back home with friends and family! Their Cross and Orange wedding reception in Asbury Park was a vibrant celebration full of endless love, reconnection, and joy.
The venue, tucked into the heart of downtown Asbury, is known for its cozy ambiance and eclectic decor. The inviting atmosphere helped guests walk right into the cocktail-style celebration ready to party! The warm lighting enhanced the romantic setting and kept their loved ones drinking, eating, and partying all night long! I loved the endless food from a farm table of appetizers to hors d’oeuvres passed around all night.
The festivities included heartfelt speeches from close friends, special joint parent dances, and lively dancing to round out the night. Amanda and Jennie shared their first dance to Halsey’s ‘Beautiful Stranger,’ which had everyone in tears! Their dads joined them to soak in a moment with their daughters and then their moms came out next to close out the special dances!
I loved how laidback this reception was, which allowed me to capture all the candid moments of laughter, warm embraces, and conversations going on all over.
It’s been so special getting to celebrate the start of your marriage with you two! Thank you for having me there to capture all these incredible memories. I can’t wait to see where life takes you from here! <3
