Their Session: Divine Park & Beach, Spring Lake, NJ

Katelyn and Joseph were referred to me by a friend of mine from high school, who is also one of Katelyn’s close friends! I loved how Katelyn and Joseph came so prepared for their session with super cute outfits and a designated dog-walker, Joseph’s little brother, so that they could easily include their pupper in some of their shots without any stress! Spring Lake was such a beautiful setting with a perfect mix of nature, greenery, and the beach! Katelyn and Joseph were so much fun to hang out with and I loved how these two were up for tons of playful, adorable photos – allllll the cute running and jumping that I love!

Their Love Story

Katelyn and Joseph met during their junior year of high school through mutual friends! Katelyn knew right away that Joseph was going to change her life in the best way. These two always say that since they were so young when they started dating, they pretty much grew up together and taught each other so many things! After graduating from high school and then college together, they both started their dream jobs and got their puppy making the sweetest little fam!

About a month before their session with me, Joseph proposed to Katelyn up in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado while they were visiting the area on a ski trip with friends and family! After Joseph proposed, Katelyn found out that he had been carrying the ring around with him during the entire trip, as he was waiting for the absolute perfect moment! He finally decided on a scenic viewpoint called Lovelands Pass and got down on one knee to ask Katelyn to be his forever! How incredible?!
