Their Session: Delaware & Raritan Canal, Somerset, NJ

Ahhh, Jen and Nick are a freaking BLAST, and I’m so grateful they were totally up for modeling for my mentoring session with Vana of VKE Photo! We lucked out with a gorgeous fall day to explore the area with these two cuties! What I loved about hanging with Vana, Jen, & Nick was that it just felt so comfortable from the moment they arrived at the session. Vana and I could talk for hours, so it was awesome that Jen and Nick were high-energy and down for anything with us! We had them skipping like they were kids again to rolling around in a field at sunset, so you can say it was a pretty amazing session!

Vana’s Photo Journey:

Vana’s love for photography and documentary-style filmmaking started when she was in high school! She filled her time with making movies and taking pictures. When college was coming up, she made the tough choice to study mental health instead of art, but the amazing thing is that she can now do both! Mental health is truly such a huge passion for this gem of a human, so she adores what she does from morning to night! Years ago, someone reached out asking for maternity photos, and ever since then, VKE Photo took off! She loooves capturing candids and real-life moments, and she wants everyone to experience the fun, romantic nature of her kind of photoshoots! Vana is crushing it and truly such a wonderful person to be around. I can’t wait to see where you take your booming business from here! <3
