KC’s romantic tea party bridal shower was a perfect blend of thrifted antiques and modern touches. With the help of her incredible bridesmaids and family, KC’s Pinterest-esque vision came to life. It was my first experience being both a guest and a photographer, which was so humbling to be able to photograph a close family friend celebrating her special day. Her guests were wowed by each little detail, from the lavender lemonade vodka to the heart-shaped tea infusers to the golden macarons.

The quaint pavilion located in central New Jersey’s Rutgers Gardens was the sweetest little find for this afternoon of finger foods, gorgeous florals and laughter. Everyone loved hearing the bride-to-be answer trivia questions and tell stories about her fiancé, Dan, who surprised her with a beautiful bouquet when he arrived. I must give a huge thank you to the amazing wedding and lifestyle blog, Red Oak Weddings, for featuring KC’s shower on their blog recently. Check out their post here!

These two fell in love in New York City, and have since visited 14 countries and over 50 cities. They’ve certainly caught the travel bug, which helped them decide on Paris, France for their destination wedding this September! Being that KC’s bridal shower was this magical, I can’t even imagine how stunning their Chateau de Saint-Loup wedding will be! Congratulations, KC and Dan; I can’t wait to see how your love grows and all the adventures that are ahead for you two!
