This glowy sunset Natirar Park engagement session with Andrea and Kevin was such a dream! The endless fields and nature at this park make it one of the best spots in New Jersey for pictures! I absolutely love getting to capture the sweetest love stories here, especially when my couples are up for anything like these two were!

Their Love Story

Andrea and Kevin met years ago through mutual friends. They hadn’t spoken too very as she was super shy when she was growing up! Years later, on New Year’s Day in 2017, she got a friend request & message from Kevin asking “hey remember me?” A few days later, she visited him and had a really chill night just hanging out. They hit it off from that night on!!

Andrea told me all about their proposal, which she said, “I ruined his plan unknowingly 😂 We bought a house last December & he knew I wanted a dog once we moved out. He planned to rescue a dog & propose with the dog! So cute! but he wanted to “go look at dogs” 2 days after we moved in! I told him it would be too much at once & we need to get settled in. He got pretty upset over it & I guess he couldn’t wait so that night I came downstairs to rose petals & dinner he made for us in our new house & proposed! BUT, during our dog conversation, I mentioned cats being a lot easier to handle. So a day after he proposed he surprised me & came home with TWO sister kittens. We now have a puppy & we love our little fur baby family” It’s all about the right timing! <3

Andrea loves how much he makes her laugh even if she’s in the worst mood. She said, “When I’m so overwhelmed or just all over the place mentally he calms me 😊” SO sweet!!
