Their welcome party: Avenue Le Club, Long Branch, NJ

This Avenue Le Club welcome party was soooo chic and so much fun!! I absolutely love wedding welcome parties because it’s such a fun way to gather guests and spend a little more time together before the formalities of the big day! Hannah & Andrew definitely did just that with this all-white party – so unique! Avenue Le Club was the perfect spot to host this event with an indoor/outdoor space that overlooked the Long Branch beach. Guests mingled inside with cocktails and light bites. Outside on the rooftop was a gorgeous view of the beach, and the perfect spot to grab some portraits! Hannah & Andrew gave out gifts for the wedding party, including special items to be used for the big day. The flower girls especially loved their new t-shirts and adorable white sunglasses!!!!

When Hannah & Andrew asked me to be involved in a full weekend of events for the wedding, I was absolutely over the moon! I love getting to know the family and friends of my couples in such a fun way. A bonus was Hannah & Andrew’s stunning wedding style which was prominent and unique in each of my sessions with them!

Their love story

Hannah & Andrew met at a basketball game in a true act of fate! A few months earlier, Andrew had found a wallet in an Uber and attempted to contact the owner to return it. Turns out, the wallet belonged to the fiancé of an NBA player who offered him tickets to the opening day Sixers game as a “thank you”! Hannah & Andrew met while standing in line where her throwback Allen Iverson jersey struck up a conversation. Andrew asked her to get a drink during halftime and knew right then that Hannah was the one! Hannah & Andrew have such an incredible energy, it’s no surprise fate brought them together!

When Andrew proposed, he had the sweetest plan. While Hannah was out with friends for happy hour, he decorated their apartment with flowers, candles, and photos! He also set up hidden cameras to capture the moment when she returned – How thoughtful is that?!! The video is SO beautiful, I was in tears watching it! After she said “Yes!”, Andrew led her down to the lobby where 50 friends and family were gathered to celebrate. Such an incredibly sweet story they’ll share for years to come!
