Their Session: Central Park, NYC

From the moment I met Tasmin and Fernando, they were literally the SWEETEST humans ever! When I was first arriving at their session, I was embarrassingly using my GPS to walk to the spot where we were meeting in Central Park (LOL so not a city girl despite having lived there for 2 years), these kind souls spotted me and called me over so we could all walk over together! Tasmin and Fernando felt like they were friends from minute one, and I was so dang excited to get to see and capture them in their element around the city! 

We started at Bethesda Terrace, which was as busy as could be, but it felt so natural and really lent itself to the NYC vibes that we all know so well! I LOVED that Tasmin and Fernando were not afraid AT ALL to be completely themselves despite the large audience surrounding them! Plus, it made for the cutest laughs and lots of fun moments! For their second outfit and location, Tasmin and Fernando went for such a cool boho and comfy feel! They looked like a cuddly dream while they were snuggled up together on their picnic blanket, taking Polaroids of one other, and playfully jumping all over each other!

Their Love Story

Tasmin and Fernando met each other in college at Florida Gulf Coast University when Fernando was a junior and Tasmin a freshman. They lived in the same dorm building, just a flight of stairs apart, so it didn’t take long for these two to connect! After dating for about a year and a half, they decided to pack up their things (plus their cat Cheeto!) and move up north to Princeton, New Jersey! After Fernando graduated from Rowan University, the two both started working in the Big Apple, but they realized very quickly that the commute from Princeton to NYC was too much and decided to move closer to the city! Once they got settled into their new home, Tasmin and Fernando welcomed another furry addition to their little fam, a kitty named Nessi! So cute! Not long after, Fernando surprised Tasmin with a proposal at the Princeton University Campus Chapel! Tasmin says that, “Seeing all of my loved ones was confusing at first, but after one quick moment I turned around and saw the love of my life down on one knee. This day was truly magical and more than anything I could have ever hoped for.”

I truly felt like we were instant friends and had such a blast hanging out with you cuties in Central Park! You two should seriously consider modeling because you totally rocked your sesh!! You are going to have the most magical wedding in London ever!! I’m so freaking happy for you! Xoxo
