Their Session: Madison, New Jersey

Geneva and Hadi’s downtown Madison, NJ engagement session was such a special summer night! We started off at their favorite local restaurant before roaming around the adorable downtown until sunset! With a little caffeine boost from the Shirley Temples they ordered at the restaurant (their favorite drink!), they were ready to enjoy the evening together! Ristorante L’allegria is extra special to them because Geneva’s grandfather actually did the tiling in the bar area where we photographed! How cool is that?!

These two are not only STUNNING, but also so giggly and sweet together! Their connection was so much fun to photograph! I can’t wait for their wedding day next spring, it’s going to be such a blast celebrating their marriage!!

Their Love Story

Hadi and Geneva met at his family’s bagel store in town! After meeting, he found her on Instagram and asked her out to dinner. He picked her up the next night and they drove around just talking for a while before getting dinner! They learned so much about each other that night like that Hadi is from Lebanon and Geneva lived in Europe for 6 years before moving to the US! Their connection was so strong that they went out for dinner again the next night! After those date nights, they were inseparable! About three weeks after their first date, she went to Italy to visit family and they talked and FaceTimed everyday while she was gone. She told everyone that he was the one! She said, “We can spend all day together and at the end of the day sometimes it still feels like it’s not enough.”

After talking about getting married extensively, the moment finally happened in early 2024! They went out to dinner and then we went to Hadi’s family’s bagel store to have hot chocolate. He proposed there since that’s where they met! How romantic is that?!

Geneva shared that she admires everything about Hadi. “I feel so lucky everyday to have him in my life. He makes me the best version of myself and has taught me so much about unconditional love.” I could just tell how much they adore one another by the way they looked at each other or held each other.
