These two were sweet enough to make the trip out to Clinton to model for a mentoring session I was doing for another photographer! At my mentoring sessions, we plan a few hours of dedicated Q&A time to deep dive into everything you may need right now – it’s different for everyone! We can chat about business strategy, client experience, shooting, editing, marketing, and so on! Then, we plan a mini couples session to teach you all about my posing style, camera settings, lighting, etc.!
I was so thankful that Tiffany and Jonathan were so willing to model for this session, and they absolutely crushed it! They were so naturally adorable, so they made both of our jobs super easy! 🙂 We got to explore so many new parts of this area that I hadn’t seen before! Can’t get enough of these two, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
Their Love Story
Tiffany told me all about their love story, and it’s just the cutest!! “Jonathan and I met in middle school, we weren’t really friends but we had a few classes together. Once we hit high school when we were just freshmen, we shared one class together and we got really close and eventually, we started dating. We were on and off for about a year and half and until we finally decided to call it quits, we were each other’s first real love and heartbreak. After that, we hadn’t seen or heard from each other (not even social media) for 5 years. I started going to this bible study, which was led by our mutual friends, and he was there! We both did not expect to see each other at all! We decided to put the past behind us and start fresh as friends again. After a few months, we started dating again, and no one would’ve ever thought, not even us! 2 years later, we’re engaged!”
Jonathan put together the most special proposal! He had all of their close friends and family come out to surprise Tiffany. With their help, he put together a beautiful backdrop with pictures of them, even some from high school! And he had the backdrop made in her favorite color yellow! He had his cousins distract her for a few hours and then drive to meet him. She had no clue – she just thought they were going to hang out!
When she got there, she saw all of their family and friends and heard the song he sang to her in high school – Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. She also saw a line up of his friends wearing t-shirts that had letters on them, which all together said ‘MARRY ME?’ She saw him in the middle of roses shaped as a heart on the floor and him holding her favorite flowers. She said it was so special and sentimental! <3
Tiffany said she loves how compassionate Jonathan is and that he will give you the shirt off his back even if it were his last. Jonathan loves that Tiffany is “gentle, caring, and determined!”
