Their Session: Allaire State Park, NJ

This was SUCH a fun session! Stacy and Nate were total troopers who braved the winter cold, and Stacy even went without shoes at one point!! I loved that they mixed a really elegant, edgy outfit that showed off Stacy’s baby bump that went with the romantic woodsy setting so well! It was super sweet that they put SO much thought into the styling details of their adorable picnic setup and paired it with cute, cozy outfits! They brought in so many fun touches like their sweet personalized mugs, snuggly blankets, and gorgeous sweet treats that just tied the scene together perfectly! It totally made the whole session complete that they brought their furbaby along for the photos! I’m so honored they asked me to document this exciting time in their pregnancy journey! 

Their Love Story

Stacy and Nate met through mutual friends and the local bar scene in Pittsburgh, but it wasn’t until one of Stacy’s friends threw a swanky party at her place one weekend that Stacy and Nate were finally able to spend some more time together. Stacy says that Nate was a little too nervous to ask her out, so she reached out to him on Facebook! They chatted online and quickly planned their first date, and the rest is history, they say!

When I asked what they were most excited about when it came to becoming parents, they said they loved that they were going to have a new best friend who would also be their little mini-me! Plus, they just couldn’t wait for all the cuddles with their little one! So sweet! Stacy describes Nate as so caring and says that he “is always thinking about me and our soon to be little one!” Nate loves Stacy’s carefree and easy-going personality, as well as how silly and lovable she is! Now that they’re parents and their baby has arrived, they are able to give him allllll the love and cuddles he deserves!
