Their Wedding: Boho Chic Wave Resort Wedding – Long Branch, New Jersey

Okaaaay, friends – buckle up! It’s time to dive into this incredible boho chic Wave Resort wedding day in Long Branch, New Jersey! This day left me speechless from the details to the dance floor! Hannah and Andrew’s whole day was full of joy and laughter due to their laidback, playful, whimsical energy. Every second with them is like watching a movie romance in real life. They’re just one of those couples who compliment the other so beautifully, and their connection is unmatched!

It’s been such a pleasure getting to know them from their engagement session to their wedding day. I’m grateful to walk away from this day with two amazing friends! They’ve been such a dream to work with, and putting this blog post together truly made me emotional! I’m so excited knowing their friends and family can relive so many sweet moments through this post!

Hannah’s not a crier, but she teared up from Andrew’s thoughtful card and gift. Andrew’s a sweetheart with so much love for his friends and family. The tears came during the funny and meaningful toasts. Not going to lie, Hannah’s father’s speech had me (and everyone else in the room) BAWLING!

They truly made this day their own by choosing to prioritize plenty of time to relax and enjoy with friends and family – especially on the dance floor! They hired a rockstar wedding planner, Amanda of Copper & Chloe, to help bring the vision to life and to help keep the day running smoothly! There was so much extra time built into their timeline that they didn’t need to rush. They could just soak in the day and enjoy!

Even with a little midday fire evacuation from the hotel (everyone was okay!), they had plenty of time to get back inside before the ceremony started! Annnd by the time we got to the celebration, these two were ready to PARTY! The dance floor was one of the most wild I’ve seen, and it was a freaking blast to photograph! The best addition, though, was the live Saxaphone player on the dance floor – SO incredible!

Their Love Story

Hannah & Andrew met at a Sixer’s basketball game in no way you’d ever expect! While they were both standing in the same line, Andrew started chatting with Hannah about the throwback Allen Iverson jersey she was wearing.

He asked her to get a drink with him during halftime and the rest is history! He actually knew that night that he has just met his future wifey!

The craziest part of the story is this: A few months before that basketball game, Andrew found a wallet in an Uber. He checked the ID inside and contacted the owner on Facebook. He didn’t get a response for a couple of days so he just mailed it back to the address on the ID. A week or so later, he got a response to his message thanking him for returning the wallet and offering him tickets to the opening day Sixers game. Apparently, the wallet belonged to the fiancé of an NBA player! The tickets she gave him were for the game where they met. Hannah said, “We like to say it was a lot of fate and also a little good karma!” How amazing is that?!
