I’ve lived most of my life thinking I was no where near mountains. I’ve always thought I had to travel far for beautiful views. In just about two hours, I was photographing alongside Jennifer Larsen on the gorgeous Mohonk Mountain House property in New Paltz, NY, and I got to see some pretty insane views! This incredible getaway never stops giving; there is just one amazing location after another here. Especially on the mountain top, it was seriously a dream at sunset!

Caroline and David hold Mohonk close to them for all of the celebrations that have happened there from birthdays to the best day—  the proposal! David had once mentioned to Caroline that the Skytop Tower would be a great place to propose while they were visiting, and she was shocked by his comment. Months later, for David’s birthday at Mohonk, they hiked up Skytop Tower once again. This time, David said, “Wouldn’t this be a great place to propose?” She couldn’t believe he was saying it again, and as she turned away, he turned her around again and he was on one knee asking the love of his life to be his forever. What a dream!

I love how meaning this location holds for these Caroline and David and that they chose to have their session there. Also, Caroline hiked the entire day in her dress and heels, so impressive! She didn’t break a sweat while the rest of us couldn’t even keep up! This session was so much fun and all sorts of stunning, just keep scrolling!
