Their Session: The Wayward & Center City, Philadelphia, PA

Ahhh, Sarah Beth and Vince’s Philadelphia engagement session is a WHOLE VIBE! I literally can’t get over how adorable these two are and how much fun we had exploring such unique parts of Center City! They knew they wanted chic bar vibes, so we called around to alllll the amazing bar options in Philly before landing on The Wayward at Canopy Hotel! We were so grateful they allowed us to use their space from the lounge to the bar to the unique art-filled hallways! After sipping cocktails, we headed over to an amazing rooftop location that overlooks City Hall and the surrounding buildings. It’s such a unique view that highlights the old and new architecture here in Philadelphia!

Sarah Beth and Vince are SUCH a fun duo – I don’t think we stopped laughing the entire evening! It was so special getting to see their love in action from sweet and giggly moments to powerhouse couple goals! Sarah Beth changed from her romantic mini dress at the bar into a sleek matching set – both outfits were so much fun for these locations!

Photographing these two felt extra special because they came into my life through one of my past couples, Amanda and Matt! Amanda’s bestie and bridesmaid, Kim, is Sarah Beth’s sister! So, I photographed Sarah Beth and Vince partying on the dance floor at Amanda and Matt’s wedding a few months before they reached out for their own wedding – how cool is that?! 🙂

Their Love Story

Alongside her marketing and evening planning career, Sarah Beth used to work at a bar in Philadelphia! In 2018, Vince and his friends would go out after work for drinks, and they often popped over to the whisky bar she worked at for whisky wednesdays! She noticed his bright blue eyes from across the bar, and they would chat every time he came in! Over the course of a few months, they got to know each other better and started dating!

Since the bar held such special meaning to their love story, Vince knew it was the perfect spot to propose to her! She didn’t realize what was going on and was so surprised that the bar was playing their song when they walked in! Little did she know Vince planned it all! Their friends and family were there to celebrate the exciting news after the proposal! ❤️

They had such a big year between getting engaged in April, buying a house in June, traveling, working, and now wedding planning! When they find time for date nights and relaxing, they love cozying up in their backyard with the fire pit on, hosting friends and family, snuggling up with their furbaby, Cato, and going out in the city!

When I asked what qualities they love about each other, Vince said, “SB makes me a better person, she’s someone who sees the best in everyone no matter the circumstances, she’s always down to go on adventures and do things but is also grounded and organized.” Sarah Beth loves how much Vince loves for his family and their kitty. She loves how sweet he is and how he will go to the end of the earth for the people he loves!
