Their Session: Boathouse at Mercer County Park, NJ

It was SO much fun getting to hang at Sara and Kyle’s adorable home with their furbabies and then heading to the nearby park for sunset! Their Boathouse at Mercer Lake engagement session was the perfect fall evening where we could relax with some pizza, drinks, and then ice cream to end the night!

These two are so adorable and truly light up when they look at one another, but nothing beats their love for their pets! With 3 cats and a Corgi, their home is full of fur snuggles and treats! Loved getting to see all the different personalities of their pets!

Their Love Story

Sara and Kyle met during their freshman year of college when she was on a group project with his roommate! Years later, they were both at a party in his frat basement in 2017 and have been together ever since! They graduated in 2018 from Stevens Institute of Technology and started a long distance dating journey that ended in December 2021 when they bought their gorgeous home together in New Jersey.

Their proposal is one for the books! Sara said, “We have 4 furbabies that are our world (our 3 year old Corgi, Charmin, and 3 cats, Penelope, Mia, and Ginny). We’re homebodies and love to spend all of our free time at home with them. Kyle proposed to me at home surrounded by our animals with a cute bandana on Charmin that said “Will you marry my daddy” and it was perfect.” It only made sense that we included them all in these engagement photos!

It’s clear that Sara and Kyle are such a perfect match. She loves his intelligence and kindness. She noted that he’s always willing to bend over backwards for anyone he loves and puts everyone’s comfort and happiness first! Kyle shared that he loves “how hardworking, realistic, honest, & blunt she is. I admire her ability to talk to everyone and that she has a caring side.”
