Their Wedding: Magnolia Streamside Resort Poconos, PA

There’s truly no better way to kick off the fall season than with Emily and Austin’s stunning fall Magnolia Streamside Resort wedding! My jaw was literally on the floor every step of the way from the florals to the invitation to all the thoughtful and creative details in between! These two didn’t miss a beat when it came to making their day special and unique, and their love was truly felt by everyone!

The rain didn’t stop them from carrying on with their plans because nothing was stopping them from enjoying the beautiful property they chose for their big day! A little rain throughout the morning made for the most romantic lakeside portraits, and it all cleared up just moments before the ceremony! Guests enjoyed a sunset ceremony as these two shared the sweetest vows leaving us all in tears!

Venue Highlights

The backdrop & property! Emily said, “30 seconds into our tour, Austin whispered to me “So yeah…I’m sold. Where do we sign?” and I was thinking the exact thing.” The resort is such a hidden gem and is even more magical in person!
They got the venue & cabins for the entire weekend, so they could stay onsite with friends and family for a “weekend getaway” experience!
The venue coordinator, Cheyenne, was all in for their unique ideas and overall vibe! Emily noted, “We clicked instantly and she just got our vibe. Want a dance party until 2am? No problem. Want to change into sweats, build a bonfire and have s’mores instead? We’ll have the wood & supplies ready. Want to do both simultaneously? Sounds like a plan! Pizza oven? Late night food trucks? Lawn games during cocktails? Yes, yes, yes.” The venue was so accomodating and willing to make the whole experience so beyond special!

They envisioned a weekend just having so much fun with all of their favorite people. With many years in the wedding industry and launching her own floral business, Emily went all in on the details! When Emily first reached out, said said, “I’ve followed you on IG for quite a bit and really love how your wedding photos look so effortless and candid… we both get the sense that you capture all of the ‘real’ stuff.” That’s all they wanted – genuine, real, undeniably them photos!

Their Love Story

When I asked them what qualities they love most about each other, Austin had so many sweet words to share. He said, “Emm is my best (only) friend that I can always count on to be my partner in crime. She’s such a compassionate person and willing to help anybody and everyone including when she stops traffic to save a stray turtle crossing the road from being squished. She gives the best hugs in the world, and she really knows how to bring out the best in people. She’s also always down to order chinese food for dinner (I could eat it every night).”

Emily said, “Austin is definitely my rock. He’s so supportive of my decisions and always cheering me on, even when I’m panicking I’m doing it all wrong. He’s so funny and so personable and charismatic. I love that I could leave him in a room full of strangers and he’d be just fine & I admire how adventurous and open he is to trying any and everything. He’s truly my best friend! And it doesn’t hurt that he’s so damn handsome :)”
