Their Session: New Hope, PA

If you could wrap up everything I love into a session, Taylor and Zach’s downtown New Hope engagement session nailed it! Their session was truly one for the books – literally and figuratively! We met at their wedding venue, River House at Odette’s, to take some pictures along the water! It’ll be really special to revisit in the spring on their big day!

Then, we ventured over to a plant-filled bar called The Greenhouse, which was a nod to Taylor’s love of plants! After frolicking around the charming streets of downtown New Hope, we stopped at Farley’s Bookshop since they both love to read! I loved chatting with them about reading goals and their favorite books. It was so cute seeing them point out the maaany books they’ve already read as they spotted them on the shelves!

Next up, we drove over to the cutest coffee shop called Luminary. This cozy spot to sip drinks was the perfect choice since Zach is coffee-obsessed! Their friend dropped off their pup, Ollie, who was an incredible model smiling at the camera and showing off tricks! Before the sun fully set, we were able to make it over to a nearby field for some nature-y goodness! Like I said, we did it alllll, and I love that we could capture all of their favorites in just a few hours!

Their Love Story

Zach and Taylor are truly the definition of best friends – their connection is so effortless, comfortable, natural, and genuine! After an incredible 10 years together, Zach proposed in Colorado this past summer! They said, “It has been a long time coming, but we have prioritized other parts of our life. All that to say, we can’t wait for our day.” I love that they focused on doing life together and decided to plan a wedding when they felt ready!

They met at a summer job near their hometown in PA. They worked at a bunch of weddings at a country club together, so their mutual party trick is folding napkins into fun shapes while they’re out to eat! How cute is that?!

Since the country club days, they both graduated from college and moved to Philly where they first made Graduate Hospital their home. Then, they moved back to their hometown area and lived in the woods, a huge change from city life! They got their perfect puppy, Ollie, (a true STAR), and saved up for their first house not too far from their wedding venue. They’re super excited to have their friends and family from all over see their new area and enjoy the town like we did for these special pictures!

Taylor & Zach,

I had SO much fun bopping all around New Hope and capturing your love. Capturing what you love most along with your beautiful connection was such a treat. I’m so grateful to be on this journey with you, and I can’t freaking wait for your wedding day in the spring. It can’t come soon enough!! Congratulations on your engagement!!! xo
