I literally could not have asked for a more perfect day for Ashley and Andrew’s wedding! Hollyhedge Estate was absolutely STUNNING with the most amazing rustic, cottage vibes! It felt like we were spending a weekend getaway in a gorgeous secret garden! Ashley put sooooo much thought and care into all of her details, and it really showed! She was so sweet and thoughtful with her details by making sure there were extra loose florals and ribbon to style her details with! It tied everything together so beautifully!

I know I have the most amazing couples when I was working hard and SHE kept checking in on ME to make sure that I had whatever I needed! So sweet! My favorite little detail was an elephant figurine which was so sentimental to them, so I loved that it was a little piece of their lives that she wanted to incorporate into their wedding details!

We captured their emotional first look by a bridge that overlooked a dreamy pond and then ventured around the venue together until we reached a stunning overgrown field that literally made all of our jaws drop in awe! These two were just such a blast to hang out with and their love for each other was undeniable! Ashley and Andrew both had the biggest smiles on their faces the ENTIRE day because they were just so beyond happy to finally be married! From their intimate ceremony, hype-crew of a bridal party, banging dance party reception, and some adorable sparkler night portraits, their wedding day was truly one for the books!

Their Love Story

Ashley and Andrew met back in 2008 at Champps Bar & Restaurant, which sadly no longer exists! Ashley had met Andrew’s sister a few times already, so when he first walked up to her, Ashley immediately recognized him! Ashley says it’s been a wild ride ever since! Their love is SO sweet and full of laughter and light. I had such a blast at their playful engagement session in Asbury Park where we sipped drinks at the bar and ran around the beach on the foggiest day!

Ashley’s favorite quality about Andrew is that he balances her out and she says that, “something about him is very calming and reminds me of home. and he loves me for me!” As for Andrew, he loves that Ashley makes him feel special and so happy when they are together!

I absolutely loved being a part of your wedding and witnessing every single amazing moment from the day! From watching your intimate candlelit ceremony in the barn to seeing your little ring bearer tear it up like a pro on the dance floor ALL night, I had such a blast with you! I was so grateful that getting beautiful portraits was SO important to you and let me just say, your portraits in the stunning overgrown field were truly some of my favorites of 2019! Your wedding was all around just such a beautiful setting with an even more beautiful couple! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Black! Xoxo, love you two so much!!
