Their Session: Glen Foerd, Philadelphia, PA

Spring is here, and I’m so excited to welcome it in with these gorgeous Glen Foerd couples session! Philadelphia has so many gems to shoot at, and I’m excited to start exploring our new city and state! I love that these two wanted to capture Willie while he’s still a puppy! When Rachel reached out to me for their session, we thought we would end up at another spot. It rained the day before and we realized it would’ve been too muddy for their playful pup to go there, so we landed on the gorgeous Glen Foerd property! It’s the perfect combination of nature and architecture!

Rachel and Scott are both photographers themselves, which made this session even more fun! They both know the ropes when it comes to being behind the camera, but it was totally new for them to get in front of it! I was honored to give them that experience, and they totally crushed it. Willie, their furbaby, was SO fun, too! He’s the most playful little pup and just loved exploring the area, but was also such a good listener when we needed him to sit for photos!

Their Love Story

Rachel told me all about how they met! She said, “Scott’s family actually owns a Camera / Video store + Print lab in Bucks County and I am a freelance photographer on the side of my full-time job. I was in the store renting equipment (as I had done a few times) and he was getting my camera + lenses together, and told me I always look so beautiful when I come in. I ended up telling the girl at the counter “if he’s single, can you tell him to call me.. My # is on the rental slip” and she said “that’s my brother” … lol. She did tell him, he did call, and now we’ve been together for 3 years!”

Rachel is such a go-getter! She own an online women’s boutique, and takes all of the photos of the girls for social media and the website! Scott is an amazing mountain bike and dirt bike rider! He also knows everything you would want to know about any professional camera or lens from growing up in his family’s store!
