Their Session: Butterfly Park, East Brunswick, NJ

These cuties reached out to take some photos before they announced some BIG news to their friends and family! They found out that they’re having a baby!! This Butterfly Park maternity session was such a dream! I was so excited to get them in front of my camera to capture such an exciting milestone! It makes my heart so happy to know that they value photos enough to book a session instead of trying to announce the news with some phone photos! This makes it just that much MORE special!

We planned to meet at another nearby location, but it ended up being closed when they arrived! Thankfully, they were totally up for rerouting, and we met up at a local park for sunset! I told them, I don’t need much – I just need some nature and we can make some magic! We barely moved spots, and we still captured a full gallery worth of images right here! SO thankful for couples who trust me enough to get them all the photos they could want even if we have to change plans last minute!

Their Love Story

Kristen told me “Alex and I are so excited for this new chapter in our lives! We cannot wait. We just cannot wait to be parents. We have been dreaming of this for YEARS. We’re looking forward to every moment and all the cuddles!”

Their wedding turned out to be more than they could’ve imagined! They were so happy that everything worked out for us, amidst a pandemic, and that it turned out to be a beautiful warm sunny day. Kristen said she seriously loved every moment of the day, and that their venue, Park Chateau, did a phenomenal job to make their day such a dream!

Kristen’s favorite quality about Alex is that he is so helpful to everyone around him. He will stop to help someone without even thinking about it and he always reacts perfectly in stressful situations where she tends to go a little crazy *girl, same*! Alex says his favorite quality about Kristen is that she cares about everyone and everything. She never wants to hurt anyone’s feelings.. and she is super cute! 🙂
