Ahh, it felt SO good to be back behind the camera for my first session of 2021! These two made my job SUPER easy! They’ve been through this whole photo thing before with two engagement sessions and their wedding under their belt! We picked this gorgeous little spot in Morristown with all the warm colors and tally grassy fields to help this duo announce that they’re pregnant! I love that they planned this session to be able to share with friends and family since they couldn’t do a celebration in person because of COVID. A session just for them was the perfect option!
Sarah and Dan met down the shore in Manasquan in the summer of 2012! They were in a summer rental together the next two years but didn’t start dating until winter of 2014! They were engaged on New Years Eve 2017, got married at Liberty House in August 2019, and are expecting their first baby in July!! 🙂 So many exciting milestones over the last few years!!
Sarah told me, “Our wedding day was an absolute dream! We were married in August 2019 at the Liberty House. We had been living together in Jersey City for 3 years and it only felt right to be married there. My best memory by far however is the following two weeks spent on our Honeymoon in Greece & Italy!”
Their favorite date night always involves trying new restaurants and lots of red wine – of course, not anymore with a baby on the way! While living in Jersey City, they loved exploring all the local city restaurants. With their love of red wine, they can’t wait to visit Napa together one day!
Sarah said she’s looking forward to seeing Dan as a job because she knows he was just made for that job! These two both proved their ability to stay calm during what could have been a potentially stressful moment during the session! While they were adventuring through the fields, Sarah stepped in some dog poop! AH – they were both cracking up and didn’t stress at all! Dan went into full caretaker mode and helped her clean it off. It was such a funny moment but honestly such a testament to how they will be as parents. I’m so excited for them to step into that new role and face all it brings together!
Thank you both so much for choosing me for this fun winter maternity session in Morristown! It was truly such a joy getting to hang with you two and share in all the excitement of your pregnancy. I loved documenting this part of your love story! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness as your family grows! <3
