Their Session: Private Residence, PA

Capturing this in-home newborn session was one for the books! If you love adorable furbaby older siblings, Mosby is going to steal your heart!! Jessie is my cousin, and seeing her and Jason step into their new role as parents to a human baby (sorry, Mosby), is so incredibly special! I loved getting to meet baby Sadie just a few weeks after she was born and see her beautiful nursery!

Jessie and Jason knew they wanted to document the special time in their lives of becoming parents, which was the perfect compliment to their maternity session that we did before! I hear all the time that these pictures just get more and more special with time, so even if you’re hesitant about if you should take maternity or newborn photos, I say go for it! You’ll never get those moments back! <3

We kept this session simple – cozy up in the nursey and snuggle the baby! I loved catching those snippets of real life like Jessie and Jason changing Sadie into a new onesie or Mosby sniffing his new sister!

Their Love Story

The University of Maryland will always be a special place for these two, since it’s where they met in their senior year! They were in the same class in the Journalism school! They became close friends quickly and realized there were more sparks there than just friendship! My best friend and their wedding photographer, Jennifer Larsen, had me tag along for their engagement session years ago at UMD – the perfect place to honor the start of their love story. Plus, it’s also where Jason popped the question!!
