Meghan and Lou truly had such a perfect Barn at Silverstone wedding day in Lancaster! Since they wanted to hold off on seeing each other until the ceremony, we had plenty of much time to relax and celebrate during the day before the ceremony! I loved getting to walk around the peaceful venue before any guests had arrived to photograph the gorgeous features like the barn, pond, and trees! Then, I headed over to Meghan and her bridesmaids at their beautiful hotel and captured their laidback afternoon of hair and makeup, music, great drinks, and so much love! My second photographer photographed Lou and his friends back at the venue before getting ready for their romantic, candlelit barn ceremony!
I loved the moment before Lou saw Meghan where he couldn’t help but smile in anticipation, and then the pure joy on both of their faces when she walked down the aisle! It was so special getting to see them soak it allllll in together. Their wedding party was the most supportive and fun crew who hyped them up all day long!
In the reception, their stunning florals decorated the mix of farm tables and wooden round tables, which gave so much dimension to the room! From the moment Meghan and Lou entered the reception and it was a party from that moment on! The energy on the dancefloor was amazing, and it was so fun seeing all the love and support surrounding these two on their best day ever!
Meghan and Lou met in college during their senior year! They studied nursing in the same program, but were both dating other people at the time. They coincidentally moved on from those relationships around the same time before senior year, and after going out for drinks with friends after an exam, they realized there was a big connection between them! After that night, the rest was history! Meg and Lou are major sushi lovers and adore Taco Bell just like me, so they tied that into their adorable engagement session at Palmyra Cove!
Their engagement was something they both wanted to happen so badly! Meghan said, “We were going to Boston for a pandemic friendly vaca (aka eating in our hotel room) at the end of October and I thought maybe he would propose. About a week before, he told me my ring wasn’t in, so not to be upset but it wouldn’t happen then. I was pissed lol. The day before we were supposed to leave, I came home from working a nightshift and my dog greeted me at the door with a collar that said “Will You Marry My Daddy?” Lou was in our bedroom on his knee with roses and “Marry Me” in lights on our bed. He even had mimosas ready for after. I loved it!”
I’m SO beyond happy for you two to begin married life with your other half! Your love is so special and a joy to witness, I’m honored I got to be a part of your engagement and wedding day! Your Barn at Silverstone wedding was the perfect place to say, “I do,” and party allllll night long! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness – love you bunches!! xoxo
