Their Engagement Session: Palmyra Cove, NJ

Ahh, Meghan and Lou are some of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met, and their sunset Palmyra Cove engagement session was just adorable! They’re both so easy to hang out with and talk to about anything. You can tell how close they are from just watching their love unfold! It’s such a joy and special thing to see how my couples interact together, and I loved catching the sweet and silly moments between these two love birds!

Meghan and Lou are a couple after my own heart – they’re HUGE sushi and Taco Bell lovers, so naturally, we had to include it all! They brought their fave beers and plenty of food for this nature trail picnic! We found such a gem of a spot at Palmyra Cove away from people and with the most gorgeous glowy light through the trees!

Their Love Story

Meghan and Lou met at the beginning of their senior year of college! They were both in the same nursing program the whole time, but were both dating other people and coincidently broke up with them the same weekend the summer before that senior year. They went out with mutual friends for drinks after an exam and the rest is history! 🙂

Their first date was at a sushi place! I love that they tied that special detail into their session!

Although there were a few setbacks along the way, their engagement was something they both wanted to happen so badly! Meghan said, “We were going to Boston for a pandemic friendly vaca (aka eating in our hotel room) at the end of October and I thought maybe he would propose. About a week before, he told me my ring wasn’t in, so not to be upset but it wouldn’t happen then. I was pissed lol. The day before we were supposed to leave, I came home from working a nightshift and my dog greeted me at the door with a collar that said “Will You Marry My Daddy?” Lou was in our bedroom on his knee with roses and “Marry Me” in lights on our bed. He even had mimosas ready for after. I loved it!”
