This gorgeous Hartshorne Woods Park and Sandy Hook engagement session made me just that much more excited that fall is right around the corner! Ashley’s adorable sweater and booties and the warm tones of their session made it feel like summer is coming to an end! These two are such a fun duo to hang out with, and I seriously could have photographed them forever!

They were totally up for the hike down to this gorgeous spot and said heck yesss to all of my wild ideas! They took my advice of taking a few shots or having a drink before their session to loosen up, and it made the session so playful and fun! Thank you, Tequila! Their love is infectious and it was such a blast hearing more about their three furbabies and son, Greyson! These two cuties deserved a little night off from parenting, and I loved that they embraced this date night session fully!

Ashley and Will met through mutual friends! They all ended up meeting at Top Golf. They were set up on a blind date, which neither of them would ever have thought of doing, but they did it and found their forevers! Ashley laughed at his goofy swing and his insane appetite and the rest was history from that night on!

Ashley told me all about their proposal story, and it sounds like such a dream!! She said, “The proposal just happened on July 3rd in Sedona! We were visiting my parents in Scottsdale, AZ and we decided to take a day trip to Sedona where I brought him only a few months after dating. Sedona just spoke to us, the incredible views, the hikes, the atmosphere. Well, we drove around checked out the chapel, the airport loop, and ended up at one of the points where all the Vortex’s meet. We went to go take a normal picture, of course closer to the edge because we both have a little daredevil in us, then he got down on one knee and I was speechless. The views could not have been more perfect. Talking about feeling all the feels especially from the Vortex hahah.”

Date nights look a little different from them these days considering COVID and having a now 6-month-old son, but when and if date night happens, they usually keep it simple like binging a series on Netflix with snacks, of course, or going to a nice dinner! They moved into a home that now has a backyard, so they love to sit, relax, have a drink, and just talk about everything and anything. They are pretty adventurous and love to just get up and go, take a drive, or find a hike the morning of and make it happen!

It’s so special to them knowing that we get to spend a lifetime making incredible memories together now that they’re engaged!

You two are such a freaking amazing duo, and I loved getting to meet you and hang out for the evening!
