Their Wedding: Forked River, New Jersey

Barbara and Joe planned their intimate backyard wedding in just a few days due to Covid-19, and it was an absolutely perfect celebration of their love! Although their original plans had to be changed, they were wildly happy to just finally call one another husband and wife! Their family worked crazy hard to build the ceremony set up by hand – so impressive! We kept our social distance during the intimate ceremony and took some of the sweetest newlywed pictures evaaa! I’m honored to have been a part of this day, and that they were so up for anything as long as they could just be together!

I actually got connected with Barbara and Joe through MY bride who is also a wedding photographer! My bride was supposed to be their wedding photographer but started feeling sick a few days before their ceremony, so she referred me to her bride, Barbara! It was such an honor to know that my couple trusted me enough not only with their own wedding but with their couple’s wedding, as well. I mean, these two were tying the knot and SOMEBODY needed to document all of their cuteness, and I’m so lucky it was me!

Their Love Story

Barbara and Joe met through mutual friends at a bar! When I asked Barbara how Joe proposed, she said: “He proposed in Italy! One of the things we did while there was go to a winery called “Musella Winery” which is my last name. We did a wine tasting and a tour and then the two of us went on a hike through the vineyards. When we got to the top, he proposed! It was sunset and perfect.”

Together, they love making plans and then getting too comfortable on the couch and canceling those plans! Some wine, food and The Office is a super typical date night for these two homebodies!

Barbara loves that Joe is funny and so compassionate for animals, while Joe’s favorite quality about Barbara is her sense of humor and tenacity!
