Calling all cat lovers 🐱 Liz and Craig are the ultimate cat parents who live for all-things cats – they have 5 rescue kitties of their own! These two traveled all the way from Canada for the Catsbury Convention in Asbury Park, NJ and they wanted to document their first time seeing the ocean with a sunset couples session. It was honestly such an honor to get to photograph them seeing the ocean, like how wild is that?! I take the beach for granted because it’s so close to where I live, but it was such a pleasure being able to get them a little sandy and enjoy the views! We started off their session at a cat cafe and played with the cutest kitties and then headed over to the boardwalk and beach as the sun started to set. It felt like -8 degrees out and I couldn’t feel my fingers while shooting, but I kept them cuddling and running around the whole time to stay warm! Seriously, such troopers!

What I loved most about this session was that there wasn’t a big milestone reason for their shoot. After knowing each other for over 10 years and being married for almost three years, they realized that celebrating the little things like their love for cats and travel is more than enough of a reason for some new pictures! How amazing is that?! I’m all in for celebrating the little things. Liz and Craig, you two are SO much fun and your love is so beautiful.
