Their Wedding: Waterloo Village, Stanhope, NJ

When it comes to dream wedding days, there’s not much more we can ask for than an incredible couple, a wildly fun wedding party, gorgeous lighting, and beautiful details! This moody summer Waterloo Village wedding day had it all! As a photographer, I felt so spoiled getting to photograph Justyna & Greg’s wedding day! They hit all the marks with a laid-back, romantic wedding day that was focused on their love and just having fun with their people! I loved seeing these cuties in their element from couples portraits out in nature to breaking it down on the dance floor all night!

I was so excited to show up to Justyna’s suite to find that all her girls were a freaking BLAST to hang out with. So much good energy and laughter going all day – it just made the morning so much fun. We popped champagne and got Justyna all glammed up to have her first look with Greg!

Overlooking a little stream, these two saw each other for the first time and let all those pre-ceremony jitters go! Once they got to hug and hold one another, everything felt calm and peaceful. Waterloo Village is such a dreamy backdrop for portraits from the homes and buildings to the endless nature. I could shoot here forever!

It’s always the biggest pleasure getting to work alongside my vendor friends! One of my faves in the industry, Michelle of Michelle Elise Artistry, dolled up Justyna and the girls!

Their Love Story

Greg and Justyna actually met in elementary school! They were good friends as kids, but he moved down the shore with his family after 5th grade. She didn’t talk to him for 15 years after that happened! They were still friends on social media, and she posted a picture of her friends in Manasquan one summer. He slid into those DMs and asked if she had a summer house down the shore. She didn’t, but since she was down there a lot, they picked a date to meet!

She said she wasn’t looking for a boyfriend at the time, but just was really excited to see someone from 5th grade! They had a great time that night and only talked a bit after. A month later, she walked into a bar on a completely random day and time, and he was the first person she saw. They were inseparable ever since!

They planned a mini-vacation to Wildwood, NJ! Justyna is currently working from home due to COVID and Greg is a fireman and not allowed to travel. They decided to take Brodie and just change the scenery for a few days. On the first day, they had a really relaxing day and then Greg suggested they go for a walk with the dog before bed. They walked toward the beach, and she started yelling at him because dogs aren’t allowed on the beach! He pulled her onto the beach and she noticed a rose petal path that led to a little picnic blanket. He proposed to her there and then all of their friends surprised them (they were hiding around the beach)! The next day, Greg surprised Justyna again with more family and friends! They had such an amazing weekend celebrating!!
