I’ve been dreaming of shooting a pumpkin patch engagement session for so long, and Gianna and Victor thankfully made that happen without even knowing! We were originally just going to go to Ramapo Reservation, but then they realized there was a pumpkin patch really close by called Secor Farms! We made the quick change to start at the patch and then head over to the reservation to get the best of both spots, and I’m SO glad we did. The patch was a little sparse, as we went on a weekend when
Gianna and Victor, thank you so much for being SO adventurous and trekking through mud, standing on pumpkins, and exploring the depths of the woods for some awesome photos. You two slayed this sesh, and I’m so excited to share these images during such a beautiful time of the year! I seriously can’t wait for your big day – I know you’re going to plan such a gorgeous, unique wedding day! Love you two!!! <3
Victor and Gianna met online, even though Gianna never really believed in dating sites after not having much luck with the guys she met on them! Then, she came across Victor’s profile and they were a 100% match according to the site, so she went for it and sent him a message! They talked for a couple of months and got to know each other. When I asked Gianna about how Victor proposed, she told me, “So, Victor and I were talking about marriage for a while, we both knew we wanted it but we were always nervous to take that big step. Victor would put the topic off for quite sometime, until one day we went to a couple jewelry stores just to look for what I would like…I had no idea the proposal would be coming sooner than later. On Christmas Eve, we went to his aunt’s house to enjoy the holiday with family, the night was going as normal as it would be until his aunt pulled me to the side asking me to go see her new bedroom which just had gotten re-done. As she’s walking me to her room, she gets to the door and sort of pushes me in and closes the door behind me. I walked in to candles and rose petals all over. Victor was standing there with a bouquet of roses. Each rose he gave me, he told me why it is that he loves me and how much I mean to him. The last rose he took out was a silver rose, that’s when he got down on one knee, opened the rose (which was a box) and asked me to marry him. Honestly, he said so much and I wish I could remember it all but I was in
