Their Wedding: Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury

Oh my GOODNESS, Delia and Andrew’s Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury wedding day will forever hold such a special place in my heart! From the moment I met these two, I knew capturing their love story would be the most fun experience. They crafted and curated the most stunning selection of details to bring their day together visually, and most importantly, they kept their day focused on what matters most – their love and being present with friends and family!

It was clear how important it was to them that they could truly experience all the big and little moments of their day. It was so special to see their wedding party and family surround them with SO much love from intimate moments like signing the marriage license to big moments like cheering them on as they did their first dance. It was a party from minute one with their hype crew, and we couldn’t have asked for better friends and family supporting them throughout their special day!

One of the most memorable moments was seeing how present they were during their ceremony! It can feel like a lot to have all eyes on you while you say your vows, but Delia and Andrew zoned in on one another and really soaked in the vows. Watching their emotions go from laughter to tears left all of their guests sniffling over their connection! One of my favorite photos of the night is their beaming excitement as they walked back down the aisle as a married couple!

I learned very quickly how family-oriented they both are and seeing that play out in real time at their wedding was really special to witness. They also are so goofy and silly together, so we have plenty of laughter and giggles that show off their vibe and connection!

When we first started chatting about their wedding vision, they shared that they wanted the photos to capture the energy and the candid moments. This early May wedding day was FULL of fun, sweet, and wild moments that unfolded naturally, leaving them with so many special memories for years to come.

Their Love Story

Delia and Andrew met while working at the same company in New York City! Delia joined into the same role that Andrew was already working in back in 2019. Their friendship grew as the young employees all became closer over the years! Andrew would pop into Delia’s office (with some excuse as to why he needed to be there) and hang out with her during the work day! Once Covid hit, they spent long days chatting on the phone and building their connection further. A weekend trip to Montauk in the summer of 2020 ended in them officially becoming a couple!

Living outside of the city now, they always make time to do life together whether it’s playing tennis in the summer or heading to a comedy show to unwind! Andrew loves how sweet and thoughtful Delia is and admireshow much she cares for her people. Delia is so appreciative of Andrew’s support and the calm that he brings into her life.

Their proposal story was such a sweet one! Andrew absolutely crushed it!! He had a friend from work gift them a hotel room at the Preston Hotel by saying she couldn’t make it anymore at the last minute! She said, “Andrew and I decided to go out earlier in the day to go for a walk on the beach then go to vineyards. Andrew had secretly planned the whole thing and proposed on Reeves Beach! We then spent the day at the vineyards and had dinner in West Hampton that night.” They celebrated with both of their families the next day, which was the perfect way to kick off their engagement!
