Their Session: West Village, NYC

Can I just relive this evening over and over again, please?! Delia and Andrew’s fall West Village engagement session was such a fun and gorgeous one bouncing around the streets of NYC and then exploring the waterfront that holds so much meaning to their love story!

Delia and Andrew are so laidback, sweet, and fun together – the laughter literally didn’t stop the whole shoot. I love it when a couple’s natural connection shines through so beautifully – these two are the epitome of effortless love! Their chic vibe was perfect for a carefree date night feel which came together when we stopped for a glass of wine at the cutest outdoor bar called Sogno Toscano! I’m so grateful to have couples who are up for anything and down to take pictures all the way through sunset!

Their Love Story

These two cuties met at work in NYC over 4 years ago! The day was an easy one for them to remember. Delia joined their company in 2019 and Andrew was already there in the role that she was joining. Their office was full of younger employees so they gained a really amazing friend group there who would hang out all the time.

Delia said, “Andrew was always making up excuses to come sit in my office and hang out with me during work.” 🙂 When the pandemic started, they spent pretty much the whole day on the phone. They had a group house in Montauk for a long weekend during the summer of 2020 and that’s when they first started dating!

They moved to Hoboken and are absolutely loving life there! They keep busy with new activities like cooking classes and comedy shows, and can be found biking and playing tennis in the summer! Andrew shared that he “loves how sweet and thoughtful Delia is and how much she cares for her people.” Delia adores Andrew’s supportive and calm nature. She said, “We are a great team ready to tackle anything!”

Their Proposal

Delia shared how the whole proposal went down! She said, “Andrew had a friend of mine (from work) “gift” us a hotel room at the Preston Hotel because she last minute “couldn’t make it.” Andrew and I decided to go out earlier in the day to go for a walk on the beach then go to vineyards. Andrew had secretly planned the whole thing and proposed on Reeves Beach! We then spent the day at the vineyards and had dinner in West Hampton that night. The next day we went and met both of our families in Westchester and he even had my brother travel from MA to be there!” A Hamptons proposal?! So perfect!!
