Their Wedding Day: David’s Country Inn, Hackettstown, NJ

Oooooh, these two!!! Kaelyn and Veronica have been absolutely INCREDIBLE from minute one of this whole adventure! They are real, unique, genuine, and so freaking funny. I’ve loved every second I’ve spent with them from their engagement session aka snuggles with their pitbabe, Stella, to surprising them at their bridal shower, to celebrating on the dance floor with them as they drunkenly danced to the sound of forever with one another. It’s been a dream getting to work with such amazing people, and they’ve truly helped me make some of my most favorite images to date! Seriously, obsessed with every photo I snag of these two!!

Kaelyn and Veronica’s wedding day was something I’ll never forget and totally wish for over and over again! They held close the things that mattered most to them and scrapped the stuff that didn’t matter, which meant a whole heck of a lot of fun, unique takes on a wedding day to make it totally their own, and all sorts of non-traditional touches, which I am alllllll about! I’m the biggest advocate for my couples doing their wedding their way, and if that means stuntin’ in a bomb red gown and getting ready together in the morning, count me in!

Yep, you heard that right! Kaelyn and Veronica spent their wedding morning alongside allllll of their wedding party together. No separate rooms, no sneaking around and hiding from one another, just a morning full of laughter, love, and so many killer memories. Seriously, I wish EVERYONE could have a wedding morning like they did. It was such a blast getting to see them celebrate with one another as they both got their hair and makeup done, dance partied it out with their bffs in matching ‘wifey’ pjs, and just have a super stress-free, relaxing morning together. I mean, let’s be real – this is one of the biggest days of both of their lives, why would they want to spend any second apart?!

Everything about their wedding day was a dream from their super cool details (two engagement rings are better than one!), sweet wifey-to-be wedding day gifts (new records and a Harry Potter box set!) emotional golden-glowing ceremony out on David’s new outdoor patio, unreal portraits ….like UNREAL, the most stunning and fun hype crew aka their bridal party, and some awesome toasts and dancing to close out the night. It was just a blast all around. I could brag about it forever!

Their Love Story

It was Easter 2016 when Kaelyn came into the wine store Veronica works at to say hi and buy wine! They met up afterward for drinks and sat on Kaelyn’s porch together where they kissed for the first time! They now live together in that same apartment that they’ve made into a beautiful home full of memories with their sweet furbaby Stella!

When I asked them what their fave qualities are about one another, Veronica said, “Kaelyn can make me laugh out loud even if I’m in the worst mood ever and she’s super supportive and makes me feel like I can do stuff I probably wouldn’t think I could do without her,” and Kaelyn said, “Veronica makes me happier than I thought was possible. She makes me laugh a lot and makes me feel good about myself.” These ladies are unbelievably supportive of one another – it’s such an obvious adoration for each other that just radiates between them!

What they loved most about being engaged was that they both just couldn’t believe that they found each other and get to spend their lives together! They also said, “The pretty rings are a plus, too.” 😛

They have such a beautiful proposal story that you totally have to read about here! While you’re at it, you can adore all the cuteness from their Montclair engagement session! Get ready for images of good food and even better drinks, a lot of great Stella snuggles, champagne showers, and a pool to cool off in the end. Couldn’t be better! <3

Kaelyn and Veronica,

Thank you. Thank you for being friends first, for opening up your home and hearts to me, for welcoming me in so quickly and genuinely, for being a freaking blast and a half, for having the best personalities, hearts, and passion for life. I’m honestly so sad to think this whole wedding planning journey is ending, but I’m excited for movie nights and grabbing drinks together soon! I know I’ve made friends for life, and that’s one of the most special parts about my job. <3 You two seriously blow me away with your love for one another and loyalty to your people. Obsessed with you is an understatement. I’m so glad you chose me as your photographer, I’ll forever be grateful! Congratulations, newlyweds!! Love you both bunches!
