Their Wedding: Indian Trail Club, Franklin Lakes, NJ

Alyssa and Colin’s end-of-summer Indian Trail Club wedding was the perfect wrap-up to the summer season! These two wanted to enjoy a relaxing day full of quality time with each other and their loved ones. With that intention, they prioritized the details that mattered most. They kept their guest list intimate and chose not to have a wedding party (my husband and I opted for the same!), so their time could be spent hanging out with family and friends without too many obligations!

Family surrounded them while getting ready, so there were lots of sweet moments that came about naturally. Colin’s favorite hobby is fishing, so he even made time to pop over to the lake and fish before getting into his suit. Alyssa hung out with the closest ladies in her life before sharing an emotional lakeside first look with Colin!

Their first look was everything you could want and more – laughter and tears and so much excitement for the day! Their family overlooked from the venue’s patio, cheering them on as they read their private vows.

Indian Trail Club has so many beautiful spots for pictures, so we were spoiled for choice during portrait time. Knowing they love being by the lake, we headed to the docks first and then made our way back for their ceremony! ITC added a beautifully updated ceremony space overlooking the water to make the outdoor ceremony easily accessible and just that much more stunning!

I love how much these two just soaked in the day from being so present during their ceremony to tearing it up on the dance floor all night! Alyssa and Colin are truly best friends, and it showed in every interaction and moment they shared together!

Their Love Story

Alyssa and Colin actually grew up in the same hometown, but never met! Social media connected them in 2015, and they’ve been together ever since. The first time they met, it was at a sports complex field in their hometown. Colin’s family just got a new puppy, so Alyssa got to meet the pup! Years down the road, he decided that same location would be the perfect spot to propose. This time around, with a puppy of their own – Arya, the cutest pitty pup!

These two both noted how much they love making the other smile, and it’s so obvious how easily they can get one another to laugh! They were beaming all day, especially when they were together! They’re both so selfless, thoughtful, intentional, and connected. With so many beautiful years under their belt already, I know they have a lifetime of amazing memories to come! <3
