Their Session: Long Beach Island, NJ

It’s truly the most special honor when I am asked to photograph my couples through all of their milestones! Emily and David’s summer LBI maternity session was exactly that – the next stage in their love story! Just a few years ago, we were in LBI on a rainy evening photographing their engagement session! This street in LBI holds extra meaning because they stay there every summer! This summer, we visited with a new milestone to celebrate – their little one on the way!

Emily and David are always down for a good time and truly know how to have fun no matter what they’re doing together. Their playful, laidback energy is perfect for a carefree summer beach session. Seeing their love grow over the last few years has been SO special, and I love that we could catch up again a year and a half after their gorgeous fall wedding!

With simple beach props like a blanket, baby book, onesies, and an ultrasound, we were all set for their sunset session! This summer LBI maternity session was an extra fun one being that it was so reminiscent of their engagement pictures!

Their Love Story

It’s been almost 2 years since their wedding day, and they’ve enjoyed everything from traveling to friends’ weddings to welcoming baby nephews into their lives! Lots of babies in their family this year! 🙂 They’re both so excited to see each other in a new role as parents and to begin building their family together!

These two met online in 2017 and went to dinner for their first date just a few days later! After a night full of laughing, they were attached at the hip and spent every weekend together! A few years later, Dave proposed on a winter day in the Poconos while on a hike! A photographer was hiding to capture the moment, and many tears were shed!! Their wedding day at Normandy Farm was a party from minute one – truly the most magical and fun day! Dave, being a DJ for many years, knows his way in the music industry, so it was no surprise that their dance floor was wild all night long! From lots of tears to incredible energy, it will forever be one of my favorite wedding days!
