Their Session: Butterfly Park, East Brunswick, NJ

It was SO special getting these two in front of my camera again after their engagement session and wedding day years before! It’s the greatest honor when my couples come back for all the milestones in their lives like maternity and lifestyle family sessions!

We kept this sweet sunset Butterfly Park maternity session close to home and in nature – two places that feel most natural to them! We lucked out with the glowiest spring evening along the nature trail in my hometown! They shared with me that the baby’s room will be woodsy-themed with natural wood furniture and green/blue colors, so this nature sesh was the perfect fit!

Their Love Story

These high school sweethearts met when they were 17! I have such a soft spot for young love since my husband and I met when we were 14 and 16! Jaclyn and Vinny went to prom together and have truly grown up alongside one another with over 10 years of being in love. Years later, they revisited the beach where they had their first kiss, and that’s where Vinny proposed!

When we took their engagement photos, we kept them meaningful and personal by taking pictures at their new home and by the stream in their backyard! The following April, we celebrated their marriage with the most beautiful wedding at Crystal Springs Resort! Their love of nature and just being with their people was the perfect way to honor so many years of love!

They said life after marriage has been amazing and they’ve been having the best time as newlyweds! She shared, “Covid unfortunately put a halt on a ton of our plans, but we actually made the best of it! We thrived and took full advantage of being home together. :)”
