Their Session: Valley Forge National Historical Park

Omggg Victoria and Jimmy’s Valley Forge National Historical Park maternity session blew my mind!! These two came prepared to CRUSH their sesh with stunning outfits and the best vibes for a fun time! Literally don’t think we stopped laughing this entire evening, which made taking these special photos just that much more memorable!

We lucked out with a gorgeous sunny evening for some glowy photos that highlighted their gorgeous connection just that much more! These two are pros at being in front of the camera from their engagement session to wedding day, and now their maternity photos!

It was SO sweet getting to document this milestone since I was sadly unavailable for their wedding day when they had reached out a few years ago! Seeing Victoria’s name pop back into my inbox to ask about this shoot just meant the whole world to me! She said, “I absolutely love the natural light in your work. I love the warm feel in your photos and the true genuineness that you capture between couples that I am hoping we can also capture for ourselves. I am a fan of all of your work and trust your process entirely.” I was so excited to capture that warmth and genuineness for THEM!

There’s just something so calm and sweet about maternity photos – it’s pure focus on their marriage, growth over the years, and welcoming of a new chapter. So much joy packed into a few hours!

Their Love Story

Jimmy and Victoria met online where Victoria had been on several rough dates before she found him. She was so glad she didn’t give up trying! Their first date was at a sushi restaurant where she remembers that he was an absolute gentleman. She said, “We talked until the restaurant closed and didn’t even realize! It felt right and we continued to date and we both found our love of Yankees games and country concerts together. We moved in together in NYC about a year after dating and lived through covid life and knew that if we could make it through that we could make it through anything lol!” They were SO right!

These two are all about trying something new and going on adventures! They love to travel or do cute activities like wine and paint, batting cages, top golf, ice skating, hiking, snorkeling, live music, new restaurants, and the classic movie night! You know they’re going to have a blast when their little one arrives!

When I asked what they’re most excited about when it comes to being parents, they said, “We are honestly so excited to get to this point! I am a pediatric oncology nurse and have been caring for children for so many years and we have dreamed of the day we could take care of our own children! I can’t wait to do all the fun things that Jimmy and I have done together but with a little mini bean with us. I am such a kid at heart and love kids shows and activities and soon I’ll have an excuse to do those things.” They’ve worked so hard to get to this point of growing their family and feel forever grateful for their baby on the way! 🥰
