Their Session: In-Home Maternity

When Amanda messaged me about photographing her maternity session, I was SO freaking honored! Amanda is an INSANELY talented wedding planner and the owner of Copper and Chloe! I 100% recommend her services to EVERYONE because her talent and attention to detail are truly incredible! I’m so pumped to be working with her on a few of the amazing weddings I have coming up this year! 

It was such a pleasure getting to see her and CJ’s beautifully decorated home and the sweet nursery for their little Cameron Grey, who is due this April! I’m honestly taking notes for when I decorate MY future home! Cameron’s nursery is so gorgeous and has the perfect minimalist aesthetic EVER! I’m obsessed!! 

Amanda is such a funny, genuine, and BEAUTIFUL person, and I am so humbled that she trusted me with this session that represents such an exciting milestone in their lives! Both Amanda and CJ were such troopers as they were getting all cozy and intimate for these images, which I adore! You all know how much I LOVE an in-home session, and the thought that their family is growing in just a few more weeks made the intimacy and excitement just that much more real!

Their Love Story

Amanda and CJ met through a mutual friend while they were on a boat down the shore! Amanda remembers putting her number and name into his phone as, “Amanda My Wife”, and he hasn’t changed it since! 

Their go-to date night is having a nice dinner and hanging out at home with their adorable pup Chloe! When I asked Amanda and CJ what they were most excited about in regards to becoming parents they said they’re excited “To create life and raise a little human!”

I absolutely loved the message to Cameron that you shared alongside these images, “To my son, who I literally cannot wait to meet, you have been the only thing keeping me going in this difficult life. Life can be hard. You weren’t easy to make, but worth every struggle, tear and heartache. I have never wanted to be a mommy so much in my entire life. Me and your daddy cannot wait to meet you.” Just so stinking sweet! I am SO excited to see you two become amazing parents and to see little Cameron!
