Their Session: Private Residence, NJ

Jaryn and Brandon’s cozy winter in home engagement session was the perfect way to celebrate their love story! We captured so many special moments in their natural element and space. I really wanted to focus on them doing things they really love to do together like eating take out, enjoying good drinks, playing games, and soaking in their amazing mountain views. I love in home engagement sessions because of the extra layer of comfort they provide. Plus, comfy outfits – need I say more?!

They chose a few activities that helped give their session a fun date night feel. They danced around the living room, played with their pup, sipped wine and beers, and had dinner from a local vegan restaurant, Freakin’ Vegan! Then, we ventured out into the snow for some frozen lake pictures down the road. I’m so glad they were up for heading outside in the frigid weather just to get a bit of nature and natural light. So worth freezing for a few minutes!!

To warm back up, Brandon got the fireplace going while Jaryn started making hot chocolate. They spoiled me with delicious vegan mac and cheese and hot chocolate 🥹 So, so lucky! They played cards and a round of pool before it was time to pick up their sweet baby from day care. I’m so glad I could be there when she got home to snag a few family photos at the end! <3

It was so special seeing their connection both as a couple and as a family. These two truly laugh through life together, and their love is so much fun. We squeezed so much into a few hours, and I’m so glad we could hit it all!

Their Love Story

Jaryn and Brandon met through friends a few years ago! Early in their relationship, snowboarding was a really big thing for them, so their venue, Mountain Creek, was the perfect find. It’s such a gorgeous location and a special nod to the start of their love story!

Brandon surprised her with an intimate proposal at home! She was expecting him to pop the question around the holidays, so she was completely shocked when he asked her in early October! Their house has a back porch with an incredible view of the mountains, and he asked to take some family photos together! While they were having their picture taken, he was able to pull out the ring and ask her! <3
