Their wedding: Terrain Wedding, Glen Mills, PA

The pretttttiest boho Terrain wedding!!! Terrain is one of my favorite wedding venues to shoot at because it’s beautiful no matter the season, but fall is just STUNNING! From the invitations to the rings to the reception decor, Sarah and Chris’ boho details were to die for! Sarah even designed some elements herself… like the invitations! So talented!

A few stand-out details and moments that I loved were:

Their signature drink sign featuring all 3 of their cats
Sarah reading Tarot cards in the morning
Norma Jean’s Vintage Machine photo booth
Their matching cologne and perfume from Lush
Allll the fun Etsy finds (Sarah works for Etsy, so I loved that she supported her company and so many small businesses throughout their day)!
Chris tearing up as he walked down the aisle and saw all of their friends and family, and then alllll the tears that followed during the sunset ceremony!

The ceremony was really meaningful and had everyone in tears. Sarah and Chris got married during the pandemic in an intimate garden elopement, so seeing them finally able to celebrate with their loved ones was amazing. They chose a fully vegan wedding menu, which was so meaningful to them (bonus points for me since I’m vegan, too)! The food was phenomenal, and their guests raved the whole night! It was a perfect way to put a personal touch on the wedding day and create a unique dining experience for their guests. Terrain took care of all the incredible catering and they blew this one out of the water!

This perfect fall evening continued with dancing, the cutest VW bus Photo Booth, Polaroids everywhere, and delicious s’mores by the fire pit!

Their love story

Sarah and Chris first connected on a dating app! Sarah told me, “Chris sent the first message and I actually didn’t want to go on a date with him because I thought I was “too busy” to date. I’m really happy my friends convinced me to go though because as soon as I saw him, I knew I wanted to spend more time with him!”

Fast forward to the cutest proposal! One day last January, Sarah was in bed playing a video game when Chris gathered their 3 cats around and got down on one knee to ask her to marry him. She said, “He actually didn’t ask me, really (he sobbed the entire time!) but I knew what he was doing and it was beautiful.” Completely casual yet so perfect for these two!

Hearing them gush about each other absolutely melted my heart. Sarah said, “Chris’s compassion knows no bounds – he is kind and empathetic towards everyone. I also love how when Chris enters a room there’s an instant ‘calm’ that enters with him – he’s very grounding.” Chris said, “It is some combination of her thoughtfulness, her kindness, her sense of humor, her intelligence, her sense of adventure, and how easy it is to talk to her.” I just love their detailed explanation of their adoration for each other!

It has been such a joy getting to work with you through these incredible milestones! You are both truly some of the kindest, sweetest humans to ever exist.
