Their wedding day: Trout Lake, Poconos, PA

This day was just everything and I cannot wait to tell you the story behind this Trout Lake wedding!!! Kristen and Rob are just the sweetest, most genuine couple. It was such a pleasure getting to know them during the wedding planning process. I knew their wedding day would be one for the books! Trout Lake is a beautiful waterfront venue located in Poconos, PA. However, on the big day, the weather took a turn we weren’t expecting! With torrential rain all morning, there was a lot of rerouting and accommodating happening by the minute. But Kristen and Rob handled it all SO positively! Despite some stressors, they didn’t let the weather get them down and partied their hearts out all night with their loved ones!

Kristen and Rob waited to see each other until their ceremony, and that emotional moment was extra special as their daughter, Skylar, walked down the aisle first. She ran right into her dad’s arms for the biggest hug! Then, Rob set his sights on Kristen as she made her way to his side. The guests, including myself, were just absolutely melting!!! Fast forward to the reception where they shared an incredibly fun choreographed dance followed by a sweet first dance between Rob and Skylar! From start to finish, the day was so emotional and special. I’m honored to have been the one to capture it!

Their love story

Kristen and Rob met at a football game back in 2014. A few years later, while Kristen was in nursing school, they were expecting a baby girl! They bought a home together and welcomed Skylar into the world in the spring of 2018! Kristen finished nursing school and they got engaged when Skylar turned one. It was too cute how they made sure she was a part of their big day in every way!

Kristen and Rob are both hard-working. They love the life they’ve built together, especially with their little girl! Kristen says she loves that “Rob is always pushing to better himself even when he doesn’t need to.” But she also says he’s very funny, and that’s a perfect match to her outgoing personality!
