Their Session: Valley Forge National Historical Park, PA

If you were wondering what perfect fall pictures looked like, Alexis and Sean’s fall Valley Forge National Historical Park engagement session is IT! Holy molyyy, these two left me speechless after spending the evening with them! I loved getting to hear more about their love story while exploring this location during the peak of fall in King of Prussia, PA! This is one of my all-time favorite engagement session locations, and this time around did not disappoint! Alexis and Sean’s love is so sweet, romantic, and giddy. I loved seeing the way their eyes would light up when they looked at each other, and major praise hand emojis for how cute their outfits were!

I love it when my couples bring a few options, especially a more casual and fancier outfit! This not only creates a ton of amazing variety in the images, but it allows for so many more posing options! We can’t always do runs, lifts, twirls, etc. in each outfit whether it’s a dress or jeans, so the multiple outfits allows us to try out all the poses and fun directions! These two were down for anything from adventuring through the tall grassy fields to venturing down toward the lake, and it was so incredibly worth it!

Their Love Story

Sean and Alexis went to high school together, but never actually spoke a single word to each other all of high school! She went on a graduation trip with her best friend to Costa Rica before her freshman year of college, where she ended up Snapchatting with Sean! They started talking more and more after that trip! He was living down the shore in NJ where he asked her to come visit him at the beach. That trip kicked off their relationship and they’ve been together ever since!

When I asked about the proposal, Alexis shared all the details! She said, “My mom kept me occupied all day and we went shopping and got our nails done and such. When I got to mine and Sean’s apartment, there were roses lining the driveway and up the stairway to our front door. When I walked inside he had our song playing, dinner cooked, roses everywhere, and was down on one knee. It was the sweetest, most perfect proposal.” SUCH a romantic, intimate proposal – go, Sean!!

Alexis has always loved how much support and encouragement Sean has shown her – she said, ” He will forever be my hype guy and even when I think I can’t do something he will push me to succeed. I couldn’t possibly be where I am today without him.” She noted how much he loves and cares for his people, and she admires how he’s always putting them first! Sean can’t help but adore how easy it is to love her! He said, “She is beautiful inside and out. She inspires me every day with how she gives everything for her work (school), friends, family, and me. She never lets her love waver and always puts those she cares about before herself.” A best friend and greatest love all in one!

They’re getting married in a way that’s so true to them – surrounded by their closest family. Sean’s brother is going to officiate the ceremony, which is going to be so memorable and special for them! They’re following with dinner and drinks with their loved ones to celebrate!
