Their Wedding: Mountain Lakes Park North Salem, NY

If I could just relive this nostalgic camp-style Mountain Lakes Park wedding and soak it in forever, I would!! Briana and Griffin planned the most magical wedding day in the woods surrounded by their closest loved ones. They celebrated in their own unique way that truly captured their personalities and passions through and through. Some of my favorite details and moments were:

a lakeside tea time over cocktail hour
the incredible vegan food menu
customized camp games like puzzles, cards, and painting
the celestial theme that’s so true to them
the most emotional ceremony vows written deeply from their hearts

Briana and Griffin have been such a fun, laidback, special couple to work with, and they truly felt like friends from the moment we met. Before they booked their wedding photography with me, they visited Philadelphia to meet me for coffee where we spent hours chatting and getting to know each other. This helped spark such a level of comfort and connection that showed through in their engagement photos with their sweet pup, Chance, and on their intimate wedding day!

Their best friends and close family truly showed so much love and support for Briana and Griffin – the emotions throughout the day were SO tangible. Everyone had tears in their eyes and the biggest smiles on their faces every second. It was so beautiful to witness and capture!

Their Love Story

These two are the truest definition of best friends to lovers! Griffin and Briana met when they were in the first grade. Through the years, they moved around sometimes being an hour or so apart. They kept in touch and Briana recalls that, “He was always a sweetheart, and was always supportive of me and my interests.”

Briana moved back to the same town during their junior year – Griffin would greet her at their class each morning by saying “Good morning beautiful!” She thought he was just being extra friendly being that they were such close friends. She realized later on that it turned out he liked her a lot, haha!

After college, they found their way back to one another and fell in love! Their mutual love of live music, vegan restaurants, and hiking with their furbaby Chance continues to keep their love so strong!

Griffin proposed during sunset on the Santa Monica pier in California! He said that ever since the first time they visited this spot together, he knew he wanted to spend forever with her! Under a setting sun, a rising full moon, and a perfect sunburst ring, she said, “He just gets me!”
