Their Session: In-Home Boudoir

If I had to come up with one word to describe this session (aside from just straight up steamy) I would definitely say “reigniting.” We planned this couples boudoir session in Jackie and Dave’s stunning, naturally lit home here in New Jersey just a few days before they moved out of the state! Jackie, who is also a photographer, knew just how amazing the light in their home was and appreciated how perfectly they had curated their bedroom decor during their time living there, so she knew it HAD to be documented. 

I am SO glad that Jackie and Dave trusted me enough to capture them in such an intimate and passionate way. We were able to break through a barrier that is sometimes hard to do with a couple outside of their home. I truly felt so inspired and creative after this shoot. I love that the limitations that come with shooting in a home push me to get more creative, to focus more on the emotion and the idea behind the shoot, and to create something I never have before.

When I look at these images I see such a true and genuine connection that feels so raw and real. These two truly inspire me to create that feeling in all of my sessions, no matter where the setting may be. Even after so many years together, their love is still full of fire and is so strong, so I LOVE that this session helped them to reignite the flame and intimacy that they feel for one another AND it helped reignite a spark in me to push my work and creativity for every single session.
