Ahhh, this absolutely dreamy winter Ryland Inn wedding day was one for the books! We never could have guessed we’d land a gorgeous February day like this – sunny and clear skies! Although Kevin always wanted a light dusting of snow for their day, it was so special getting to use all of the amazing aspects of Ryland Inn’s property inside and out! You don’t always get that in February! 🙂
I love that these two truly valued all the moments – big and small. They wanted all those memories with loved ones captured whether it was just the girls chatting in the kitchen or the guys playing pool. It’s so clear how genuinely they care about their people, and I’m so glad we could capture all of these sweet interactions from morning prep to wild the dance floor!
One of the most special moments that I’ll always remember was Alli’s father-daughter dance! It turned into sister-and-brothers dance with all of her brothers stepping in one after the next! They all had a special moment to dance with their sister, and it just showed, again, how special family is to these two!
The reception space was decorated with the most romantic and dreamy florals, candles, and decor! They didn’t miss a single step when it came to the details. The candle-filled brick fireplace to the unreal floral ceremony backdrop repurposed for the sweetheart table to the table arrangements and more. It was jaw-dropping, and I was so excited to capture all the unique touches from their day!
Alli and Kevin met in downtown Morristown back in early 2018! They were both out with groups of friends and wound up at South Street Social at the same time! Kevin was at the bar with a buddy when Alli tried to get through to get a water for her friend. She apologized for barging through and the rest is history. They hit it off right away and moved in together the following summer!
Their first vacation was in Cape May in the summer of 2018! They stayed at the Heritage Inn. Kevin said, “That trip was when I knew she was the one.” Fast forward a few years – he took her back down there the Saturday after Thanksgiving just for an impromptu day trip! Kevin managed to bring her to the rooftop of Heritage Inn, which is closed for the winter, and popped the question up there! He hired a photographer who was able to sneak up discreetly behind them to get up to the roof and in place for the perfect moment!
We celebrated their engagement at Red Mill Museum in Clinton, New Jersey! You can check out their adorable winter engagement session here!
You two have been such a joy to work with since day one, and I’m so thankful you chose me as your photographer! Thank you for being so joyful, giggly, sweet, and happy from your engagement session to wedding day! I had such a blast getting to know your friends and family and seeing how much they adore the two of you! Such an honor being a part of this celebration of your love! Wishing you two a lifetime of love and happiness!
