Naomi’s Session: Rutgers Gardens, East Brunswick, NJ

If you’ve been around here for a while, you may know that I started photography back in middle school and photographed a bunch of my friends and classmates as we got into high school! Portraits were the way I really started working with new clients and ultimately, couples! I absolutely LOVED that I got to shoot a senior sesh this last year! It was super inspiring and rewarding to get to work with Naomi, who is a long-time family friend! We actually hit up a little abandoned library in our town for the first location, and I think it was the cutest little find for her session! It’s totally different from the typical in-studio portraits we see for seniors all the time in our area! Naomi knew she wanted nature and greenery for her session, so we made sure everything reflected her style and vision! For our second location, we explored around Rutgers Gardens for a bit more greenery and some family portraits, which was such a blast! I love that they all came to support her during such an exciting milestone shoot!!

About Naomi

When I asked Naomi about what she’s looking forward to for senior year and beyond, she said, “I’m excited to have an easier schedule that allows for more free time to spend with friends and more fun! I’m excited for college to have a fresh start and meet new people.” Heck yes, girl! So many fun and exciting things ahead for you!

This gal is such a hard worker, so you can usually find her working on her schoolwork! She’s super involved in school clubs and tutoring, but also loves playing lacrosse, exercising, spending time with friends, napping, and reading! She loves being outdoors, which is what we wanted to capture for her sesh!
