Their engagement session: Sea Girt, NJ

This summer Sea Girt engagement session was just so much fun with Roxanne and Matt! These two just absolutely love making each other laugh and being silly together, and I’m so glad I was able to capture that for them in such a special place. The Sea Girt beach was absolutely beautiful and we even had the most stunning golden hour at the end of the session! As the sun went down, Roxanne and Matt went from flirty and fun on the dunes to sultry and romantic on the jetty. I love seeing the different sides of my couples come to life in front of the camera! After the shoot, we met up with some of their family members back at the beach house. It was such a nice bonus getting to know them a bit as well before the wedding day!!!

Their love story

Roxanne and Matt met online, where they chatted for a week before meeting up! As Roxanne says, neither one of them was looking for a “pen pal,” so they jumped right into it! Their first date was dinner and they found they couldn’t stop talking to each other – they truly didn’t want the date to ever end! Since that first night, they’ve been inseparable. In March 2020, they moved into their home together and by the end of the year, they were engaged! Truly a love-at-first-sight story!

Roxanne and Matt cherish their faithfulness to one another. She loves his ability to make her laugh, his selflessness, and his encouraging words. He loves her sense of financial responsibility, generosity, and willingness to help friends and family. The adoration between these two is truly seen and felt when they’re together!
